Remembrance Day - Lest We Forget

Our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leaders joined with the Congregation of North Runnymede United Church to give thanks to those who gave their all for our freedom in past and current conflicts, and to pray they all end.

The Cubs and Scouts made poppies on crosses, and, with the help of our Beavers and Venturers, gave them out to the Congregation.

We were joined by Mr. Fred Taylor, a WWII veteran, who told the youth what it was like to serve. Our heart-felt thanks to Mr. Taylor for sharing his experiences, as difficult as they were, with us.
